HOW TO NAVIGATE
• Type a 3-digit number in the PAGE box to jump instantly.
• Tap any row (or page number) to open it.
• Some pages have internal screens. Use NEXT>>> / <<<PREVIOUS or swipe left/right.
NO SCROLLING exists anywhere on Teletext-Tools.
If something does not fit: it becomes another screen.
WHY DOES NOTHING SCROLL?
Teletext pages were complete inside the TV frame.
Teletext-Tools works the same way:
• Every page fits between the header and footer
• If content grows, it becomes another screen
• Wide screens may show columns, but the logic is still top-to-bottom
If you ever see scrolling, something is wrong.
HOW DO MULTI-SCREEN PAGES WORK?
Some tools have (1/2), (2/2), (1/4) etc.
• Swipe left/right to change screen
• Or use the corner tabs: <<<PREVIOUS and NEXT>>>
• The PAGE box always jumps to a new page number (not internal screens)
WHAT A CONVERTER PAGE DOES
Converters change a number from one unit to another.
Typical parts you will see:
• VALUE — the number you type
• FROM — what unit your value is in
• TO — what unit you want
• RESULT — updates instantly
Start at P200, or search units fast on P201.
COMMON INPUT TIPS
• You can type decimals (e.g. 1.5).
• Use minus values when needed (temperature, offsets, etc.).
• If your keyboard hides part of the page on mobile, tap outside the input to dismiss it.
• If a number looks “wrong”, check the FROM and TO units first.
WHY DOES A RESULT LOOK ROUNDED?
Results are formatted for readability:
• trailing zeros are trimmed
• long decimals are shortened when they add no practical value
If you need more precision:
• change the input value slightly, or
• choose a different unit scale that produces cleaner numbers
SCIENTIFIC NOTATION
Scientific notation appears only when it helps (very large or very small values), or on dedicated scientific-notation tools/pages if provided.
The goal is: readable first, exact maths always.
SHARE A TOOL OR SETUP
Many pages are designed to be shareable:
• Copy the page URL to send it to someone.
• Some tools store choices locally on your device (so your setup stays put).
If a link opens but looks “default”, re-check the page number and any on-screen selections.
FULLSCREEN / WALL DISPLAY
Some pages offer a fullscreen mode for clocks, timers, or displays.
Tips:
• Rotate your device for a different layout
• On iPhone/iPad, use “Add to Home Screen” for a more app-like fullscreen feel
SWIPE & “GHOST TAP” PROTECTION
On iPhone/iPad, a swipe can sometimes trigger an unwanted tap afterwards.
Teletext-Tools blocks clicks briefly after a swipe to prevent accidental jumps.
Result: swiping feels stable and predictable.
IF SOMETHING LOOKS BROKEN
Try these in order:
• Reload the page once
• Check you typed a valid 3-digit page number
• Rotate (portrait/landscape) and re-check layout
• If buttons don’t respond after a swipe, wait a moment and tap again
If a page ever overlaps the header/footer, that is a layout fault.
