PERCENTAGE CHANGE FORMULA
Percentage change = (end value − start value) ÷ start value × 100.
The difference shows how far the value moved.

WORKED EXAMPLE
Start value = 100 and end value = 125.
Difference = 125 − 100 = 25.
Percentage change = 25 ÷ 100 × 100 = 25% increase.
