Try CELL=1–4px for sharpness / scaling issues.

Try SUBPIXEL for RGB stripe alignment checks.

1) Set CELL size (8px is a good start)

2) Press START for fullscreen overlay

3) Look for shimmer/blur while changing OS scaling or monitor sharpness

Soft grid: scaling/zoom not 100% or display sharpening

Moiré shimmer: panel scaling / fractional scaling

Misalignment: overscan / aspect mismatch / GPU scaling

Subpixel hints: RGB stripe direction + text rendering

High-frequency patterns can feel intense for some people.

Reduce brightness and take breaks if you feel strain.

Is this “pixel perfect”? lines are drawn at devicePixelRatio for crispness.

Why does it blur sometimes? OS zoom / browser zoom / scaling.

What is SUBPIXEL? 1px stripes to reveal RGB layout & fringing.

How do I exit? ESC or tap/click.

A clean grid makes scaling problems obvious: one pixel off becomes shimmer.

Use small CELL sizes for sharpness. Use larger cells for alignment across the whole panel.
