HOW TO USE (LAB FLOW)
1) Choose a MODE on Page 1
2) Press START FULLSCREEN
3) Adjust brightness / refresh settings on your device
4) Exit with ESC or tap/click screen
WHAT EACH MODE REVEALS
1 Inversion: checker shimmer, panel voltage artifacts
2 Overdrive: overshoot halos, VA smear, response asymmetry
3 Dithering/FRC: near-grey shimmer, temporal noise patterns
4 Scan: rolling scan direction (great for phone camera)
5 Pulse: PWM-like modulation visibility and comfort checks
DISPLAY CARE
OLED safer: most modes are balanced (not static full white)
Comfort: reduce brightness in dark rooms
Pulse mode: keep amplitude low if sensitive
FAQ
Why tiny HUD? so fullscreen stays “lab-clean”.
Why does it look different per screen? panels + processing vary widely.
Can this measure exact ms? it’s visual-first; use instruments for absolute values.
How do I exit? ESC or tap/click screen (always).
NOTES (SHORT)
Inversion: try 1PX checker + alternate at 60Hz.
Overdrive: if you see bright/dark halos, that’s overshoot.
FRC: near-grey shimmer often indicates temporal dithering.
Scan: film slow-motion; the wipe reveals scan timing.
Pulse: square wave is harsher; sine is gentler.
