ABOUT TELETEXT ARCADE
P800/2
UPDATED 2026-02-22 • fixed frame • NO SCROLL
P800 is the games hub for 810–890.
It’s teletext-style: one screen, stable layout, fast jumps.
If a page needs more text, it becomes another subpage.
No heavy libraries, no accounts, no popups, no noise.
Made for phones, tablets, laptops — especially iPad Safari.
Games range from skill tests to strategy to retro quests.

SCORES & FAIRNESS
P800/7
WPM, accuracy, time, streaks
Typing uses common WPM: 5 chars = 1 word (standard).
Accuracy usually counts correct chars / total chars.
Some games store best scores locally (device only).
Changing device/browser resets local bests.
If paste is limited, it’s to keep scores meaningful.
Use copy buttons where offered to share results.

QUEST GAMES NOTE
P800/11
How rooms and doors will work
Quest pages behave like rooms: doors move you to a new page.
Example: Willy Quest uses room pages like P871/1, /2, /3…
No scrolling: each room is a fixed teletext frame.
Progress is clear: room name, items, exits, status.
Puzzles stay readable: short lines, no huge paragraphs.
If a room needs more text, it becomes the next room page.
TROUBLESHOOTING
P800/12
If something looks off, try these
If layout looks wrong: refresh the page.
If iPad: rotate once, then rotate back.
If zoomed: reset browser zoom to 100%.
If font too large: check OS text scaling.
If taps misfire after swipe: tap slower (iOS quirk).
Still broken? Use INDEX (199) to reach another page.
