WHAT THIS TOOL DOES

This page wraps a PNG image inside SVG markup.

The PNG is embedded as a Base64 data URL inside an SVG image element.

It creates a wrapper SVG. It does not trace pixels into vector paths.

Choose a PNG on page 1, set wrapper options on page 2, then press GENERATE.

Use page 3 to copy or download the SVG. Page 4 shows the full markup.

For big PNGs, compress first so the SVG text is not huge.

This is not vector tracing and does not turn pixels into SVG paths.

Zooming still shows the original bitmap image inside the wrapper.

Use true SVG artwork when scalable vector paths are required.

AUTO keeps the PNG native dimensions inside the SVG wrapper.

Preset widths recalculate height when aspect ratio is preserved.

Turning preserve off allows stretched wrapper output when needed.

The background menu can add a rectangle behind the embedded PNG.

Transparent, white, black, magenta and cyan options are available.

Transparent keeps the PNG alpha behaviour inside the wrapper.

Use CHOOSE on mobile and tablet to pick a PNG from files.

Large PNG files can create very long SVG markup strings.

The controls are split across pages to avoid mobile overlap.
